Terms of Service

Last updated 29 September 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Training Turk. Please read the section on content you create: using the service means we may keep, use and license your interview answers and exercise work, with personal details removed, including to train AI. Nothing here takes away rights you have under consumer law.

About these terms

These Terms of Service are a legal agreement between you and us. They apply whenever you use the Training Turk website and its features, which we call the service.

By signing in or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and Disclaimer form part of this agreement. On credits and refunds, the Refund Policy wins if the two say different things.

Who we are

The service is run by Training Turk, operated by the founder, an individual based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, until a company is registered.

Once registered, the company will be [ENTITY NAME], registered at [REGISTERED ADDRESS]. We will tell you when this happens.

You can contact us at support@trainingturk.com.

We are independent of Mercor and micro1

Training Turk is an independent practice service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Mercor or micro1, or by any company that hires through them.

We cannot see or influence your applications, and nothing you do here is shared with them. Our questions are our own, and our formats follow what candidates have publicly reported.

Mercor and micro1 are trademarks of their owners. We use the names only to say which public job listings our practice relates to.

Who can use the service

You must be 18 or older. By using the service, you confirm that you are.

You may hold one account. Keep your sign-in secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us at support@trainingturk.com if you think someone else has used it.

You must not use the service where the law forbids it, including under sanctions laws.

What the service does

The service helps you prepare for AI-training expert roles. It is for your own practice.

We are not a recruiter or employment agency. We do not offer jobs or apply for you, and credits buy practice only.

The service includes:

  • Voice mock interviews with an AI interviewer, in a live call. Calls are recorded, and we ask you to agree to the recording before each call.
  • Role exercises, such as writing a rubric, grading a model answer, comparing two answers or producing a short deliverable.
  • AI-generated scores, feedback and reports.
  • Resume grading, and public facts about roles on Mercor and micro1 with our own summary and a link to the original posting.

Credits and payment

Interviews are paid for with prepaid credits. One credit is one interview. A credit is used when the interview starts; our Refund Policy explains exactly when that is.

Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and do not expire while the service runs.

Card payments are handled by Stripe and crypto payments by NOWPayments. We never see your full card number. You pay any network fees on crypto payments.

Prices are shown at checkout, in US dollars. A price change never affects credits you already hold.

Refunds and failed interviews

Our Refund Policy sets out when credits come back and when you can get your money back. In short:

  • A failure on our side never costs you: we help you resume, and if you cannot, the credit comes back.
  • If the interviewer cannot hear you, the call ends; before halfway the credit comes back, from halfway you can rejoin. Silence refunds are limited to 2 in 30 days.
  • Cancel within 10 minutes of starting, before answering, and the credit comes back.
  • Unused packs are refundable within 14 days of purchase.

Chargebacks

Please contact us before disputing a payment. We can usually fix a problem faster than your bank.

While a chargeback is open we suspend your account and hold the credits from that payment. If we reasonably believe the dispute was not in good faith, we may close your account. Your rights with your card issuer are not affected.

Content you create

Content you create means everything you produce in the service: spoken answers and their recordings, transcripts, exercise work such as rubrics, grades, comparisons and deliverables, and the ratings, comments and feedback you give.

The scores, reports and feedback the service produces about your work are ours too. Your resume is treated separately, in the next section but one.

You confirm that content you create is your own work, and that it does not include anyone else's confidential information or personal details.

Our rights in content you create

To the fullest extent the law allows, you transfer to us all rights, including copyright, in content you create, as soon as you create it. [verify: whether an assignment of future content is enforceable for consumers in each market]

Where a transfer is not possible, you give us a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, transferable licence, with the right to sublicense through several tiers, to use content you create in any way and in any media. This includes to copy, store, adapt, translate, annotate, combine, publish and license it.

Where the law allows, you also waive any moral rights in it, such as the right to be named. We give you back a personal right to use your own answers and exercise work for your own preparation.

AI training and licensing

We may use content you create to build and improve AI, including training, testing and evaluating our own models and other people's. We may also license it, sell access to it, or share it with third parties, such as AI research labs, for those purposes.

Before content leaves our own systems or is used for training, we remove personal identifiers: your name, email address, phone number, links, account ID and resume details. We replace them with a random ID and do not try to re-identify anyone.

What you say aloud may still reveal who you are, for example if you name your employer. We take reasonable steps to remove such details, but we cannot promise to catch every one. Please do not say personal details you would not want kept.

This use is a condition of using the service, and agreeing to these terms is how you give it. There is no separate box to tick. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. [verify: EU, UK and California rules on making data use a condition of service, and whether a Do Not Sell or Share link is needed]

Recordings

Your voice is recorded during calls. We keep the recordings for 30 days, then delete them. Transcripts and records made from them are kept as described in our Privacy Policy.

Your camera image is shown only on your own screen. It is never sent to us or stored.

Voice recordings are not shared with third parties except the providers that run the service for us. [verify: whether de-identified voice audio may ever be licensed, given biometric voice laws such as Illinois BIPA and GDPR Article 9]

Some places require everyone on a recording to agree to it. Take calls somewhere private, and make sure no one else can be heard.

Your resume

Your resume stays yours. You give us a licence to store, read, redact and analyse it to grade it and to build interviews that fit you. That licence ends when you delete the resume or your account.

We do not license your resume to anyone.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time from your account settings or by emailing support@trainingturk.com.

Deleting it removes your profile, resumes, recordings and everything that links content to you. Unused credits are lost, so ask for any refund first.

De-identified content already in training sets, or already delivered to a licensee, stays there under its random ID and cannot be recalled. Our rights in it continue after your account closes.

Acceptable use

Please use the service fairly and lawfully. If you break these rules, we may suspend or close your account.

You must not:

  • use bots, scripts or scrapers to reach the service, run interviews or collect content;
  • have someone else answer for you, or play recorded, synthetic or AI-generated answers instead of your own;
  • share questions, tasks or materials you promised a platform or employer to keep confidential;
  • try to make the AI reveal its instructions, prompts, question banks, rubrics or model answers, or to misbehave;
  • upload another person's resume or personal details, or record other people without their agreement;
  • harass or abuse anyone, including the AI interviewer and our team, or submit hateful, sexual, violent or unlawful material;
  • interfere with the service, test its security without written permission, or get around bot protection;
  • use the service, or anything it produces, to build or train a competing product;
  • create more than one account, share your account, or game the refund rules, for example by going silent on purpose;
  • use the service during a real interview or assessment on any hiring platform.

Practice only, never during a real interview

The service is for practice before a real interview, not a tool to use during one.

Hiring platforms usually forbid outside help during their assessments, and using ours then may get you removed. We may close your account if you do, and we are not responsible for what another platform decides.

AI output

Questions, scores, feedback, model answers and job summaries are produced with AI. They can be wrong, inconsistent or thrown off by transcription errors.

They are practice feedback, not a prediction of any hiring outcome and not professional, legal or career advice. Our scores are not the scores any platform would give you.

Use your own judgement, and always check the original job posting before you apply. Our Disclaimer explains these limits in more detail.

Our intellectual property

We own the service: the software, design, question banks, exercises, rubrics, prompts, model answers, summaries and reports.

You may use the service and your own reports for your own preparation, and share your report with a mentor. You may not copy, publish, sell or redistribute our questions, exercises, rubrics or model answers.

If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them freely without paying you.

Third-party sites and services

We link to sites we do not control, including the original job postings. We are not responsible for their content or how they handle your data.

We rely on providers for sign-in, payments, calls, speech and AI. Where you deal with them directly, their own terms also apply.

Changes to the service

We may add, change or remove features, questions, formats and providers. If a change removes something important you already paid for, you may ask us to refund your unused paid credits.

We aim to keep the service available but cannot promise it will always be. If we close it for good, we give at least 30 days' notice and refund unused paid credits.

Suspending or closing accounts

Where it is reasonable, we warn you and let you respond before we suspend or close your account. We may act at once if there is a risk of harm, fraud or a breach of the law.

If we close your account through no fault of yours, we refund your unused paid credits. If you seriously broke these terms, unused credits are forfeited unless the law says otherwise.

Disclaimer of warranties

We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. Beyond that, and as far as the law allows, we provide it as it is and as available.

We do not promise that AI output is accurate, that practice will get you a job, that listings are current, or that the service will be free of errors or interruptions. Consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded still apply.

Limitation of liability

Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or under consumer law.

Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or unforeseeable loss, lost income or job opportunities, or any decision by a hiring platform or employer.

Our total liability for all claims about the service is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and US$50. [verify: cap amount and enforceability for consumers]

Your responsibility to us

If content you create breaks the law or someone else's rights, for example because it contains another person's confidential material, you are responsible for the claims that follow, as far as the law allows. [verify: indemnity wording for consumers]

Your consumer rights

If part of these terms is not allowed by the consumer law that applies to you, that part does not apply to you and the rest continues.

Nothing here limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, UK consumer law, EU consumer law, India's Consumer Protection Act 2019, or the consumer law of the country where you live.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when the service, our providers or the law change. We will tell you by email or a notice on the site.

If a change is material, we will ask you to accept it at your next sign-in. If you do not accept it, you can close your account and we will refund your unused paid credits.

Transferring this agreement

We plan to register a company to run the service and will transfer this agreement, your account and your credits to it. We may also transfer it to anyone who takes over the service, including the rights in content you create. Your rights will not be reduced.

You may not transfer this agreement to anyone else.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of [GOVERNING LAW] [verify: UAE onshore or DIFC, chosen with counsel].

If you have a complaint, please contact us first at support@trainingturk.com. We aim to resolve it within 30 days.

If we cannot, the courts of [JURISDICTION] decide. As a consumer, you may also be able to go to the courts where you live and keep the protection of that country's mandatory laws.

In India you can also contact our Grievance Officer, [GRIEVANCE OFFICER NAME, EMAIL].

General

These terms and the documents they refer to are the whole agreement between us about the service. If a court finds part of them invalid, the rest stays in force.

If we do not enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later. We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control.

Sections that by their nature should continue, such as those on content you create, AI training and licensing, liability and governing law, continue after this agreement ends.

These terms are written in English. If we provide a translation, the English version applies where the law allows.
